A vegetable is the edible part of a plant that is used in cooking or can be eaten raw. They are different from fruit in that vegetables don't have seeds. Vegetables are often consumed as salads or cooked as part of a side dish or main meal.
A person who does not eat meat is considered a Vegetarian because they often only eat vegetables (and fruit).
The informal word for vegetables is veggies.

Examples of vegetables are spinach, broccoli,cabbage,kale,chard,squash and beetroot.

Many of the African people ignore to eat veggies in their meals.This is due to the poor belief on eating "meat is a sign of richness and veggies is for the poor. "They end up deteriorating their own health due to lack of nutrients contained in the vegetables.

  • Vegetables do not add more calories to your body. Eating a plate full of vegetables is good for your health; at the same time helps in weight management. As you eat more vegetables, we do not tend to get hungry easily.
  • Most of the vegetables have anti-aging properties. Regular consumption of such vegetables ensures a young look and healthy feeling to our body. Younger looks gives us more confidence.
  • Vegetables keep our biological cycle very regular. Vegetables regularize the digestive system and maintain the appetite throughout the day. This keeps us mentally and physically fresh than ever

LIFE STYLE AND DISEASES

The state of being  healthy  is contributed much by day to day ways of living.In this modern era where science and technology  has made life so simple in such a way that people lifestyle is highly changed.People do not consider much their ways of living and their health.In the way of securing their time they tend to feed on non nutritious food  which are highly  impacting  their health.

Some of the normal day to day activities  which prople tend to live with which have high impact on their health in a way to cause diseases  are as follows:    
  •   The tendency of eating junk foods such as icecream,cakes,and juices with alot of calories  where body can not consume at a time.
  • Abdnormal consuption of alcohol,which is made by alot
  •  of carbohydrates  and sugars where a body normal metabolism will fail to regulate.     
  • Lack of body exercises. Despite  the fact that there is high consuption of those carbohydrates and highly sugar food many people have time for their body excercises which will help to reduce alot of calories consumed and help them to stay away from diseases.

  • Avoid high consumption of fat foods such as highly  usage of red meat such as beef,porks!Avoid using alot of icecreams,chips,alot of bottled food.
  • Have a lot  and enough body exercises daily for your body to stay health, because this will reduce chances for body accumulations of fats and carbohydrate.
  • Drink sufficient  amount of pure and safe water as accordance to your body requirement and size.
  • Have alot of fresh fruits and vegetables as many as you can afford.

CHOLERA OUTBREAK IN TANZANIA IS PREVENTABLE

               CHOLERA is an epidemic disease which mostly affect developing nations in the world ,especially the Sub-saharan  countries .Tanzania is among them highly affected by this epidemic.
CHOLERA  is a communicable disease caused by a bacteria Vibrio cholera( a comma)
           This epidemic can be transmitted from either life style of people in a community or individual person which encourage poor sanitation.A dirty environment.

            Cholera in Tanzania seems to be prominent during the rain seasons as observed in 2015,these months November,December,January,February and the early  of March.During these months many  fruits like mangoes seems to be in a large sum but also these months are hot causing an increase of houseflies (a major vector in poor sanitary enrironment)

  •   Lack of latrines/toilets
  • Lack of good sewage system
  • Lack of enough education on the epidemic
