CHOLERA OUTBREAK IN TANZANIA IS PREVENTABLE

               CHOLERA is an epidemic disease which mostly affect developing nations in the world ,especially the Sub-saharan  countries .Tanzania is among them highly affected by this epidemic.
CHOLERA  is a communicable disease caused by a bacteria Vibrio cholera( a comma)
           This epidemic can be transmitted from either life style of people in a community or individual person which encourage poor sanitation.A dirty environment.




                                     CHOLERA IN TANZANIA
            Cholera in Tanzania seems to be prominent during the rain seasons as observed in 2015,these months November,December,January,February and the early  of March.During these months many  fruits like mangoes seems to be in a large sum but also these months are hot causing an increase of houseflies (a major vector in poor sanitary enrironment)
                                                                                                                               CONDITIONS ENCOURAGING SPREAD OF CHOLERA

  •   Lack of latrines/toilets
  • Lack of good sewage system
  • Lack of enough education on the epidemic 






Lack clean and safe drinking water/taking unboiled /untreated water.
      POOR PERSONAL HABITS LEADING TO CHOLERA


  • Eating with unwashed hands.
  • Eating raw food/not well cooked food
  • Eating unwashed fruits and vegetables
